Writing Portfolio
This section is purely archival at this point.
I spent 15 years as a full-time writer specializing in medical, science, and legal content—though I sprinkled in small doses of other topics that interest me, including politics, parenting, fashion, and more.
I’m no longer accepting freelance clients or pitching to media outlets, and have turned my attention full-time to writing about feminism. For this reason, my writing portfolio is no longer live. But if you’re interested in what I used to do, here’s what I used to have on this section of my website:
I publish multiple articles each day, and have written for hundreds of websites and publications over the years. I write a weekly reproductive justice and abortion rights column for DailyKos. For years, I wrote daily science and mental health news articles for GoodTherapy.org. I’ve written about hundreds of medical, psychological, and relationship topics for Medical News Today, where I continue to publish several articles each week. I extensively covered the novel coronavirus outbreak for sites such as WebMD. Working Mother has published my rants on household labor inequity. I ghostwrite for doctors and scientists, and have written for genomics companies, hospitals, assisted living communities, law firms, anti-racism educators, colleges and universities, mental health counselors, and consumer information sites such as LegalZoom.
